Jesus is the Unavoidable Decision

From the beginning of Genesis to the end of Revelation, the Bible places Jesus at the crossroads for every person who has ever lived or ever will live. He is the central character of the Bible, and the One who presents humankind with an unavoidable decision.

Every person must decide for himself or herself: Jesus is either Lord and Savior, worthy of worship and allegiance, or He is someone less.

Those who choose to follow Him gain the worth He placed on the human soul when He created—and died to redeem—humankind; these “saved” souls will live with Christ in eternity. Those who choose against Him, or who simply refuse to choose at all, forfeit the value He placed on them; they will live eternally separated from God in Hell.

It is a stark choice with eternal consequences. This month at Love Worth Finding, we are exploring this choice by looking at:

  • the value God places on the human soul
  • the reality of the final judgment
  • the urgency of the decision
